Totm (Transport on the Map)
We've developed this web application using Google Maps to allow Transport authorities to display a variety of live and timetabled area transport information on their web sites.
The basic feature is a bus stop finder, allowing users to see the 8-letter bus stop code for a particular stop.
If you send this bus stop code by text message to 84268, you'll receive a reply message giving you the next departures from that stop.
The basic bus stop finder can easily be enhanced with other live or timetabled data, where available, such as

Clarence
Clarence is a product now in development. It will monitor individual passengers' multimodal journeys in realtime, and alert travellers to disruptions and cancellations.
Centro live departure boards
TV screens will be positioned in public spaces in the West Midlands area - hospital receptions, shopping malls, etc. - giving realtime and timetabled departure times for buses from local stops.
